Shortness of breath -- particulary with activity or when lying
flat.

night. You may notice that you need to use more pillows than usual to be able
to breathe and sleep.

Swelling of feet and legs.

Tiredness and weakness that keeps you from doing your normal
activities. You may notice you are more fatigued and restless.

Waking up at night coughing or breathless.

Weight gain -- usually sudden; two or three pounds per
day or more than five pounds in five days.

Noticeable decrease in urine output in a 24-hour
period.
